Under the new arrangement, Aunalytics’ services will include data center infrastructure, server infrastructure, endpoint management, backup and disaster recovery (DR), and cybersecurity.

Established in 1863, 1st Source Bank assists its clients with building wealth and achieving financial security. The bank is a community financial services provider with community values and has held these same principles while providing outstanding customer service for more than 150 years. 1st Source operates across 81 branches in Indiana and Michigan and oversees a Specialty Finance Group that provides financing for aircraft, trucks, and construction equipment.

Prior to selecting Aunalytics, the organization conducted a thorough evaluation of its technology operations and decided to avoid locking the company into a hardware environment for another five-year period. The IT leadership chose to focus its IT resources on applications, data, and integration priorities of the business instead of continuing to support hardware internally. Additionally, the IT team at 1st Source Bank sought to deploy a near-term cloud option and expand upon its backup and DR options in order to build a more flexible and fully redundant computing environment.

Another draw on the bank’s IT staff was server management, which Aunalytics will also oversee. And with future plans to implement more advanced operational analytics, 1st Source Bank plans to start a full data management initiative, taking its data strategy to the next level.

The partnership is designed to assist businesses in the South Bend-Elkhart (SBE) region of Indiana as they advance their digital transformation goals and compete in an increasingly digital and global marketplace through data-driven analytics.

The partnership will provide a cloud data and analytics platform to Notre Dame researchers and students working with iNDustry Labs business partners through the University’s Applied Analytics & Emerging Technology Lab (AETL), part of the Lucy Family Institute for Data & Society.  The platform will enable the AETL team to work in a nimble data environment to gather insights and answer questions, driving value for partner businesses and offering students real-world scenarios to hone their skills. Through rapid prototyping, collaboration on algorithms and creation of data models, researchers and practitioners can work to create actionable insights.

More than a third of the SBE region's workforce is employed in manufacturing. Like other industry sectors, manufacturing companies are grappling with the costs associated with digital transformation to remain competitive in today’s data-driven era. The ability to aggregate siloed data from multiple sources, cleanse and organize data so that analytics can be applied to drive actionable insights, is critical to getting ahead. By achieving a 360-degree view of inventory and sales performance across different sales channels, manufacturing companies can perform the analysis needed to make better, more strategic decisions about how to move their businesses forward.

Week-long Event Will Celebrate Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Growing Startup Community in the Northern Michigan Region

South Bend, IN (May 3, 2022) - Aunalytics, a leading data platform company delivering Insights-as-a-Service for enterprise businesses, announced today that the company’s Chief Marketing Officer Katie Horvath will moderate a panel featuring Founders, Astropreneurs, and Innovators during Northern Michigan Startup Week, May 9-15, 2022. The panel is one of two that will be held on Space Night, May 9 starting at 5 p.m. at the Dennos Museum Center in Traverse City, Michigan.

Northern Michigan Startup Week is a celebration of entrepreneurship, innovation, and the growing startup community in Traverse City and throughout the region. It is designed to showcase new opportunities and foster aspiration in Northern Michigan. In addition to Space Night, events include a Funding Innovation Luncheon, Startup Expo, University Idea Showcase, Student Pitch Competition, and Techstars Startup Weekend. Space Night and the Student Pitch Competition will be live-streamed as well.

Space Night will offer the opportunity to meet and engage with Michigan-based entrepreneurs at the forefront of the space industry and hear about their experiences and the future of the industry. The event is structured to resemble space industry conferences and will feature a keynote address by Chris MacArthur, Senior Legislative Assistant to U.S. Representative John Moolenaar. A Future Space Industry panel will be held in addition to the panel moderated by Horvath. Horvath is a member of the Michigan Women’s Commission appointed by Governor Whitmer.
